"When they come for us", I'm not sure if it is a quote but I feel that it should be. When writing Nobody's free until everybody's free I was about to add more context and reasoning behind why fighting for others is also fighting for ourselves.

The Israeli occupation, apartheid system and genocide in Gaza and the West bank is a testing ground for new technologies of repression, documented in the book The Palestinian laboratory - How Israel Exports the Technology of Occupation Around the World by Antony Loewenstein. With totalitariam regimes such as India, Saudi Arabia all looking for ways to aid them continue their rule. However, they are not the only ones drooling over these new "capabilities".

The biggest investor of all into the Israeli war machine is the USA and its allies. All the surveillance technology tested in this genocide will be absorbed by these countries. In order to continue to contain their own populations and others out. The technology used to manipulate and mislead the population will be used against the people.

We are witnessing the results of an unregulated technology industry where there is no accountability companies knowingly enabling a genocide and empowering an apartheid state. This is a fight we must tak, for us and for our children. When they come for us and these technologies are applied on us, then what?

  • Demand regulation Artificial "Inteligence" and facial recognition technology
  • Demand facial recognition technology can not be deploiyed in our cities
  • Boycott and hold accountable the technology companies aiding and enabling genocide: Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft and many others.
  • Organize in the work place and hold your company accountable for which technology they purchase
  • Normalize protesting against technology
